The movie DIE WELLE. The film is constructed based on sparse values and lack of sense of young people in our society. for that reason Rainer, in his experiment, gives them a place to belong, a place where they make sense, which they feel accepted Therefore, we as teachers have a big responsibility to teach our students, to transfer,Contribute to society with values, to build a better society and our work affects or contributes to our students.
The movie "The Wave" In this film we can watch the way in that this teacher (Rainer Wengerof) try to impose a kind of government into his classroom through a slogan that said "force through the unit", at the beginning all was in order, But every time, this thought grew up and was out of control, this brought many consequences inside and outside of the school. For this reason we should to be careful when we want to impose a thinking to others or explain in a clear way the goals of everything that we say.
the movie ¨the wake¨ It had to be a very open and liberal professor, whom students trust. Someone who has just overcome by his own experiment. Finally, the character ended up as a sort of old rocker like Ron Jones himself indeed, and who confesses anarchist. Actually, Ron was a very liberal professor in his day, someone from humble working class background, not a stuffy private school principal. Someone who can take a fitness class, which consorts well with the kids. Students like their classes and volunteer to complicated jobs offered because he is there.
The movie was wonderfull and shows us that the teahcer doesn't have the knowledge always and the student must search the knowledge and have question about the information and the techer say. the teacher is a guide of the learning process and shows us the way.... :)
In this case the movie " Die Welle"shows us a story that leave us enough lessons, shows the influence of a person who has power over a group of people can cause impaires the way of thinking. As people become dependent on everything your "leader" tells and ask to them. As everything that we as a teachers tell our students will have influence in their cognitive, emotional and physical development.
This movie "Die welle" show us the power that the teachers have in the society and as from his speech gives life to ideals such as: Team spirit, sense of community, common ideals, discipline and mutual support. These things are very important, but if not given the meaning that must, happen things like that happened in the film. By other hand, the film show us what a teacher can achieve through knowledge. this means the importance of teachers to change society.
The wave is a documentary that shows us where we can get a teacher and his students to follow instructions given by the authority figure and even how extreme obedience and behavior of individuals in group situations changes radically even against their own conscience and principles.
