This video shows to us, the importance of the Bilingualism Education, how the children learn different languages in a early age. This is a great motivation to begin to think about our mission like future teachers, we have to learn different language and different cultures, because, we not only need to transmit a message, we need to understand to our students. We need to know their difficulties and necessities.
What I liked the most about this video is the importance this "Dual Immersion Method" gives to both first and second language by involving students into classes in which Spanish or English is spoken at all the time. As one of the teacher said the only way for them to learn a second languages is by having solid basis on their first language. However, it may seems harder than it looks like for a student to get all of the ideas in a classroom in which his native language is not spoken, but they "catch" words or expressions that will help them to communicate even in a basic level.
The video is interesting because the video talks about the "Dual Invertion Method" and say that the children can learn a second language in a at early age and shows us the motivation of the children for learn a different language.
